The association Gerês Viver Turismo organized on 2 June 2016 a workshop entirely dedicated to the development and sustainability of tourism.
There were three topics under discussion: “Associativismo e Parcerias em Turismo” presented by Engineer Sónia Almeida, Managing Director of ADERE-PG: “Gestão de Resíduos em Destinos Turísticos”, by Engineer Ida Sousa, from Organic Unit Urban Services and Environment of the City Council of Terras de Bouro, “Eficiência Energética e Preocupações Ambientais” by Dr. Nuno Forner, representative of ‘’Zero – Associação Sistema Terrestre Sustentável’’.
Dr. José Carlos Pires, President of the association Gerês Viver Turismo and Dr. Filipe Mota Pires, representing Terras de Bouro, also commented, and the debate was moderated by Jorge Coelho, technician of the association.
The discussion with the themes presented, besides being interesting and dynamic was also fruitful in the sharing of knowledge, experiences and ideas.
The initiative was supported by the City Council of Terras de Bouro and the Hotel Universal.
