4º Walking Festival in Gerês

On 19th and 20th March, the 4º Edition of the walking festival in Gerês happened, here more than two hundred people of different age groups and from different parts of the country participated. The association Gerês Viver Turismo organized the event, in partnership with five touristic entertainment companies that operate essentially in the tourist destination Gerês, with the support of the County Council of Terras de Bouro and the local development association ATAHCA. On each of the days there were 5 guided walks, led by experienced professionals, along trails with different characteristics in the area surrounding the village of Santa Isabel do Monte, where the richness of the natural heritage and the scenic beauty are undeniable.
