Last March 2015, Ger\u00eas Viver Turismo \u2013 Association for the Defense and Promotion of Ger\u00eas and the Get Bus company, started a partnership to promote the Peneda-Ger\u00eas National Park, namely, to communicate more effectively the already existing connections by bud between Porto Airport and Ger\u00eas.<\/p>\n
The partnership was celebrated on 26 May with a trip, in a real context, between Porto Airport and Ger\u00eas, as well as a visit to the N\u00facleo Museol\u00f3gico de Vilarinho da Furna, located in the municipality of Terras de Bouro.<\/p>\n
This trip served to test and prove how easy it is to get to Ger\u00eas by bus.<\/p>\n
The following entities were represented in this initiative: County council of Terras de Bouro, Business Association Ger\u00eas Viver Turismo, Regional Development Association ADERE-PG, County council of Braga, companies Get Bus and Empresa Hoteleira do Ger\u00eas.<\/p>\n
Ger\u00eas as a tourist destination in much sought after, both for its natural heritage as well as for its culture and many leisure solutions, it is also important to strengthen the promotion of this destination, which involves communicating and promoting the connections by bus that already exist between Porto Airport and Ger\u00eas, operated by the services of Get Bus, Transdev, Verde Minho and Empresa Hoteleira do Ger\u00eas, resulting from a joint effort in benefit of mobility to and from the tourist destination.<\/p>\n
