About two hundred people, from the most diverse parts of the country, participated in the 5th Walking Festival that happened on 18th and 19th March, in Ger\u00eas.<\/p>\n
Event organized by the association Ger\u00eas Viver Turismo in partnership with five tourism animation companies in the municipality of Terras de Bouro.<\/p>\n
With very favourable weather conditions, the participants were able to walk in three trails with different characteristics, all of them with a strong natural and cultural component. Complemented by experienced guides who know the area, as well as references and explanations about elements present in nature and explanations about elements present in Nature, those who participated in this event also getting to know better some of the cultural heritage, as well as a little about ways of life, customs and traditions associated with Ger\u00eas.<\/p>\n
Judging by what registered upon arrival, the satisfaction was general.
